Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before applying to or enrolling in the Bridgetree Learn mobile development training program ("the Program") operated by Bridgetree Technologies Ltd ("we", "our", "us").
By submitting an application, enrolling in the Program, or using our website at learn.bridgetreetech.co.ke ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not apply or enroll.
1. Program Description
Bridgetree Learn offers a 12-week, fully online, project-based mobile development training program delivered in two tracks:
- Foundation Track: Designed for beginners with no prior coding experience, focused on Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Professional Track: Designed for working developers with existing programming experience, covering both Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) development
We reserve the right to update curriculum content, scheduling, and delivery methods to improve the quality of the Program.
2. Enrollment
- You can enroll online by choosing a track and start date, agreeing to these Terms and paying the first month's fee. You can also apply first and talk to our admissions team on WhatsApp before paying
- Your seat is reserved once we have confirmed your first payment. We confirm payments on WhatsApp, normally the same day
- Each cohort has a limited number of seats. If your chosen cohort is full when your payment arrives, we will offer you the next start date or a full refund
- The Professional Track requires prior programming experience. If we believe the Foundation Track suits you better, we will discuss it with you before your start date. If you prefer not to switch, you will receive a full refund
- If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf before you enroll
- All information you provide when enrolling must be accurate and truthful
3. Tuition and Payment
Tuition
Foundation Track: KES 15,000 a month for 3 months (KES 45,000 in total).
Professional Track: KES 25,000 a month for 3 months (KES 75,000 in total).
There are no registration or other fees.
- Payment schedule: the first month is due before your start date and reserves your seat. The second month is due by the Monday of week 5 and the third by the Monday of week 9. You may pay in full at any time
- How to pay: M-Pesa Paybill 880100 (NCBA Bank), account number 1009174147. Keep your M-Pesa confirmation message and give us its code, either in the enrollment form or on WhatsApp, so we can match your payment
- Late payment: if a monthly payment is more than 7 days late, access to live classes and course platforms is paused until it is paid. Time missed while access is paused does not extend your cohort's dates
- Sponsors: fees may be paid by a parent, guardian, employer or other sponsor. The student remains bound by these Terms. With the student's agreement, we send the sponsor a short progress update each month. Employers can request an invoice
- Tuition covers live instruction, course materials, project mentorship and career support as described on our Website. You provide your own laptop and internet connection
- App store fees: to publish your capstone app you need your own developer accounts, and you pay their fees directly to Google and Apple: Google Play's one-time registration fee (currently USD 25, both tracks) and, for the Professional Track, Apple's Developer Program membership (currently USD 99 a year). These fees are not part of tuition and are not refundable by us
4. Refund Policy
- Before program start: Full refund if you withdraw at least 7 days before the cohort start date
- Week 1: 75% refund if you withdraw during the first week of the Program
- Week 2: 50% refund if you withdraw during the second week
- After Week 2: No refund. You are welcome to complete the Program at a later cohort, subject to availability
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
4A. Referral Rewards
The referral offer has ended and is not available for new enrollments. Referral rewards already earned under the offer before it ended will still be honored.
5. Student Responsibilities
As a student in the Program, you agree to:
- Attend scheduled online sessions and complete assignments on time
- Have access to a laptop or computer (with minimum specifications communicated at enrollment), a stable internet connection, and any required software
- Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect and professionalism
- Submit original work. Plagiarism or submitting another person's code as your own may result in removal from the Program without refund
- Use AI coding tools (such as Claude, Copilot or Cursor) only where the course allows it, and be able to explain any code you submit. Passing off AI-generated work as your own where it is not allowed counts as plagiarism
- Not record, distribute, or share course materials, video sessions, or proprietary content without written permission
6. Intellectual Property
- Course materials: All curriculum content, slides, project templates, and instructional materials are the property of Bridgetree Technologies Ltd and may not be reproduced or distributed
- Student projects: You retain ownership of the applications and code you create during the Program. We may use anonymized screenshots or descriptions of student projects for marketing purposes with your consent
- Website content: All text, graphics, logos, and design on learn.bridgetreetech.co.ke are our property and protected by intellectual property laws
7. Certificate of Completion
A certificate of completion is awarded to students who:
- Maintain at least 80% attendance throughout the Program
- Pass the weekly data structures and algorithms assessments, with an average score of at least 60%
- Complete and submit all required projects, and publish the capstone app: on Google Play for the Foundation Track, and on Google Play and the App Store for the Professional Track
- Comply with these Terms throughout the duration of the Program
Each certificate has a unique ID and QR code, and can be checked at learn.bridgetreetech.co.ke/verify. Its public verification page shows your name, track, program dates, results against these requirements, your capstone app and, if you provide it, your GitHub profile. We may revoke a certificate that was issued in error or obtained dishonestly.
The certificate is issued by Bridgetree Technologies Ltd and is not accredited by any government education body. It is a professional training certificate that reflects practical skills gained during the Program.
8. Limitation of Liability
- The Program is provided "as is." While we strive for high-quality instruction, we do not guarantee specific employment outcomes or job placement
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program
- Our total liability shall not exceed the tuition amount you paid for the Program
- We are not responsible for technical issues on your personal devices, internet connectivity, or third-party service outages
9. Program Modifications and Cancellation
- We reserve the right to postpone a cohort start date if minimum enrollment is not met. Enrolled students will be notified at least 7 days in advance and may choose to join the next cohort or receive a full refund
- Schedule adjustments, guest instructor changes, or minor curriculum updates do not constitute grounds for a refund
- In the unlikely event we cancel a cohort entirely, all enrolled students will receive a full refund
10. Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. The following behaviour is not tolerated:
- Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind
- Disruptive behaviour that interferes with the learning of others
- Sharing or distributing inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
Violations may result in a warning, suspension, or removal from the Program without refund, at our discretion.
10A. Your Personal Data
We collect and use your personal data to handle your enrollment, payments, teaching, assessment and certification, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019. We do not share it with third parties except where the law requires it, or with your agreement (for example, progress updates to a sponsor). See our Privacy Policy for details.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Program shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Nairobi, Kenya.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Enrolled students will be notified of material changes via email. Your continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
